  7. AmiMUD is the first amiga mud client, it's not an unix porting, so it uses
  8. all the amiga specific features. It's shareware, some of the most advanced
  9. features of the program are available only in the registered version.
  10.  
  11. It requires to work OS 2.0 and a TCP stack (AmiTCP/Miami/I-Net225/Mlink)
  12. installed.

  14. It doesn't use ANY special GUI engine, it uses only reqtools.library for
  15. the requesters. The Prefs program uses MUI, but it's not required.

  17. Here are the new features of the new version:

  21. - New preferences program that let you configure easily all the AmiMUD features,
  22.   uses MUI but you can still configure AmiMUD with your favourite text editor if
  23.   you don't like it.

  25. - Includes, now an AmiMUD configuration may be splitted in various modules (for
  26.   instance a screen module).

  28. - Aliases!

  30. - Speedwalk playing/recording that let you record on a file your movements and use
  31.   them again if you need it. (REGISTERED)

  33. - Complete, an easy way to type less text via TAB completion. (REGISTERED)

  35. - Fast speedwalk, now you can handle speedwalk like tt++ does (without speedwalk char) (REGISTERED)

  37. - Partial telnet support, actually works only with some telnetd...

  39. - Improved the tick computation process (maximum_ticklength).

  41. - A lot of new configuration keywords (all available also in the prefs program).

  43. - Improved scrolling speed on 3.0+ amigas.

  45. - Crypt code, now you can talk with other players using AmiMUD or Elf for Windows
  46.   being sure that no one can understand what you are saying! (except who knows the
  47.   crypt password)

  49. - Now you can merge configurations...
